BlueHost and HostGator Clients are Experiencing Downtime Due to Router Problems in The Utah Data Center

Web hosting providers HostGator and BlueHost have been experiencing downtime and outage issues on Wednesday. Per HostGator officials, They have been having router malfunctions within their data center in Provo, Utah. These downtime issues started at about 11:00am eastern time on Wednesday morning.
Many Customers have stated that these long periods of outages are becoming too often. Many clients have also posted on social networking sites that access to their websites have been an ongoing problem for the past few days.
It is not clear just how many clients have been affected by these outages, but some are still unable to gain access to their services such as VPS accounts that are hosted at BlueHost and some dedicated servers at HostGator. HostGator officials say they are working diligently on correcting the outage so service can be restored to their clients. They will be updating their forums on the latest news until complete service has been restored.
On a side note, We are getting a 504 Gateway Time-out on our end here, so let’s hope they get this issue resolved soon
