Think you've got the best-tasting chili in Alamance County? Find out at the Times-News annual Chili Bowl Cook Off. Just complete the form at the link below and bring a crock pot full of your best chili to Holly Hill Mall to be judged by local chili experts. First, second and third place will be awarded. The first place winner receives $100, second place, $50 and third place, $25. Plus, all winners will receive prizes from Coca Cola and Burlington Recreation & Parks. Last day to enter is Wednesday, Jan. 23 by 5pm. The cook off will be limited to the first 30 people who mail, drop off, or complete the entry form at the link below. Send in your entry today! Chili Pepper Eatin’ Contest

 

Can you take the heat? As part of this year's Chili Bowl Cook Off we are holding a Chili Pepper Eatin' Contest. Up to 15 contestants will see how many pickled Jalapeños they can eat in 3 minutes. The champion receives $100 and prizes from Coca Cola. Last day to enter is Wednesday, Jan. 23 by 5pm.
